About Todmorden Pride

Established in January 1998 the Todmorden Pride Board, operating as a voluntary group, includes a diverse range of representatives drawn from all sectors of the community of Todmorden.

The objectives of the partnership are to forge a sustainable future for Todmorden as a community, exploiting its considerable architectural heritage and environmental advantages.  To date the Partnership has defined a forward strategy for Todmorden and assisted in the development of several areas of the town. 

With no operating budget at the Boards disposal these achievements reflect the very significant investment of time and wide ranging expertise which each of the partners brings gratis to the Todmorden Pride Board.

Members

As currently constituted, the board consists of twenty-four members representing each of its partner groups as follows.

• Todmorden Business Association (1 member)
• Local Business (2 members)
• Art, Culture & Tourism (2 members)
• Community Organisations (2 members)
• Young People’s Groups or Schools (2 members)
• Environmental Groups (2 members)
• Sporting Organisations (2 members)
• Co-opted members (6 members)
