Marina plans for Todmorden

Plans for a marina and hotel development will be on show at Todmorden Library on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th June along with representatives from Todmorden Pride who will be on hand to discuss the proposal.

The marina proposal is being presented as an alternative to a supermarket by Sainsbury's on a derelict site on Halifax Road.

In November 2010, Sainsbury's submitted a planning application for a supermarket on Halifax Road in Todmorden. Todmorden Pride's objections to this planning are detailed in a letter to Calderdale's Chief of Planning here as well as our support for a prior application from Netto/Asda.
