Town Hall Consultation

Todmorden’s Grade One listed Town Hall is the subject of a new consultation by Calderdale Council. The council is seeking views from as many people as possible, both local and visiting, to understand what the town hall means to the town and it’s visitors.

Part of the consultation includes a questionnaire, a copy of which is included at the bottom of this article, but also available from Customer First in Todmorden Community College, Todmorden Library, Todmorden Together’s office in White Hart Fold and from the town hall itself. The questionnaire will also be available from Council staff at a stall on Todmorden market on the mornings of Friday September 19th and Thursday September 25th. The council are also running tours of the town hall from September 30th to October 4th.

The town hall is perhaps the most significant building in Todmorden and an instant landmark for the Town. The questionnaire is an important step to securing the town hall’s future use in the town. Please take your time to complete the questionnaire and return it via one of the locations from which it is available.

Results of the questionnaire will be published in November.
